Sewing Points and Resistance

2019

I had the privilege of contributing as a designer to the project Pontos de Cultura e Resistência, which was carried out in partnership with Casa Sem Preconceitos - Reducing Damage and Promoting Citizenship, an initiative conceived by Suzy Santos, in the city of Campinas. The project's main objective was to strengthen the work of Casa Sem Preconceitos, promoting the empowerment of its residents through sewing and creative economy classes.

My contribution focused on creating promotional materials and designing the home's presentation folder. These materials were designed to convey the project's values, in addition to highlighting the importance of artisanal work and the autonomy generated by the process of creating, producing and selling products made by the residents.

It was an enriching experience to be part of an initiative that combines creativity and social impact, valuing stories of resistance and promoting citizenship in such a significant space.
