Sculpture

Exploring the world of sculpture began as a necessity, a search for a therapy for the symptoms of tendonitis that plagued my hands. However, what began as a simple form of strengthening exercise soon turned into something much deeper and more meaningful. Sculpting not only alleviated my pain, but it became a new passion, a form of artistic expression that I could never have anticipated. Working with cold ceramics proved to be a natural choice because of its ease of handling and the durability of the resulting pieces. But I also fell in love with papier-mâché, not only for its unique texture, but also for its sustainable appeal.
